Educational DVD Production - Birth and Babies for Beginners:

An educational DVD production, commissioned by Joann Lugt, based on the antenatal classes she teaches in her private practice.

Birth and Babies for Beginners is an education programme aimed at first-time parents. Joann covers the entire childbirth experience, from care during pregnancy, to childbirth options, to interactive exercises for mothers and their birth partners, to education and advice on breastfeeding, to dealing with postnatal depression, to care of the newborn infant.

Bonus features include the printable course notes stored on the DVD in PDF format. An extremely complex and ambitious project which eventually resulted in a 2 DVD box set, with a whopping running time of 3hours 33min!

Editing, Media Encoding and DVD Authoring: Boulevard Blues - The Railhouse Tracks:

Boulevard Blues' The Railhouse Tracks was shot on location at Fogey's Restaurant in Muizenburg, Cape Town. This live performance featured 2 sets - an unplugged acoustic set, and a rocking electric set!

Phezulu Pictures took care of the encoding of the original edited footage, and the DVD authoring. We also created and edited the title sequence for inclusion on the DVD. This DVD was released through Bowline Music.

Phezulu pictures encoded a selection of clips of Jazzart Productions for use on their website.

VHS to DVD archiving - Cape Town City Ballet

These stunning old VHS recordings were given a new lease on life! Phezulu pictures digitized the old VHS footage and archived it on DVD, to make sure these brilliant performances weren’t lost to the ravages of time!

Wedding Videography – Jac and Bianca Steyn

This wedding video was shot in the quaint seaside village of Simonstown. It captures the fun of the day, especially the bride and groom's playful shenanigans during the beach photo shoot!

The atmosphere during the reception was a jovial one, with friends and family contributing their messages of love and support to the video production.

Promotional Video – Volunteer Wildfire Services:

This video covers the Open Day held by the Volunteer Wildfire Services at the Newlands fire base in Cape Town.

It highlights the plight of this essential volunteer fire fighting service, and appeals for the public for help to fight against the scourge of the runaway fires that devastate the Western Cape in the dry season.
